Q: How do you ensure I get credit for every referral?
We put a lot of thought and effort into this question because it can be tricky. The solution was to build a separate Installation Package for each of our Affiliates. So, when you send someone to our website, your Affiliate Code will be the URL and when the user clicks to download Tube Toolbox, they will be directed to your special Installation Program. When the user installs the software using your installation program, the first time that they log in, it reports back up to our servers that YOU referred them to us. From that point on, they can upgrade their account at anytime in the future and we will always know where they downloaded it from originally. It takes ZERO effort on the user's side so you don't need to worry about them entering your code in or anything like that. More details on this process and examples will be given to you when you sign up.
Q: How much can I make by being an Affiliate?
A: That depends on how much effort you put in. It is not out of the question to earn $500+ or more each month.
Q: Is there a Minimum Payout?
A. We have two options that you may choose from. You can either choose to have no Minimum Payout and get paid Quarterly (every 3 months). Or you can choose a $50 Minimum Payout and get paid monthly. You will make this choice when signing up.
Q: Do I get paid for recurring payments?
A: No. Currently our Affiliate System is not set up to handle paying our affiliates for recurring payments. You will be paid 80% of the Activation Fee and nothing on recurring payments. If you'd like to answer support emails, calls and handle the constantly changing YouTube code, then we'll talk ;-)
What are the acceptable ways of marketing Tube Toolbox?
A: Email, Banners, Google, or even use Tube Toolbox to market to people on YouTube. To put it simple, be respectful and non-invasive as possible. If your marketing practices give us a bad name then you will be subject to account closure.
